Mission Statement & Goals

The mission of the Tyngsborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is to work towards the understanding, respect, support, and appropriate education for all children with special needs in our community.

Our Goals:

• Provide outreach and support to parents/guardians and members of the community
• Promote communication and programs that encourage understanding, respect, support, and appropriate education for all children with special needs in our community
• Promote a network for parents/guardians of children with disabilities and provide a forum to share resources and information
• Encourage and stimulate meaningful dialogue between the school system and parents/guardians regarding the special education program
• Collaborate with the school administration on the planning, development, and evaluation of special education programs
• Keep current with legislative actions and inform members and community
• Promote and organize educational trainings and workshops
